Busan Day Tour Itinerary

The stops of a Busan day tour in order: Haedong Yonggungsa, Cheongsapo and Blueline Park, the UN Memorial Cemetery and Gamcheon, with the time at each stop on six tours.

Updated November 2026

Most Busan day tours run from east to west: Haedong Yonggungsa in the morning, the coast at Cheongsapo and Haeundae Blueline Park around lunch, and Gamcheon Culture Village in the afternoon. LOVE KOREA’s Busan: Authentic One-Day Guided Tour of Top Attractions, from US$31 on promotion, usually US$44 a person (checked November 2026), follows that order and adds the UN Memorial Cemetery, with an hour and a half in Gamcheon before the drop-off by Jagalchi Market.

Powerd by GetYourGuide

Free cancellation until 24 hours before. On 27 November 2026 the day cost US$30.50 a person and on 20 January and 10 March 2027 US$43.58 (checked November 2026).

The direction matters more than it looks. The temple and Gamcheon are 22 km apart in a straight line, across the whole city, so a tour that starts at one end finishes at the other. If you are staying near Haeundae, a day that ends in Gamcheon leaves you on the far side of town at dusk; LOVE KOREA’s coach brings you back to Haeundae Station at 7:00 PM.

Haedong Yonggungsa

Map of Busan with Haedong Yonggungsa and Haeundae in the east, Busan Station and the North Port cruise terminal in the middle, and Jagalchi Market and Gamcheon Culture Village in the south-west
Haedong Yonggungsa and Haeundae in the east, Jagalchi Market and Gamcheon Culture Village in the west: a day tour crosses the city between them.

The temple stands on the rocks at the water’s edge in Gijang, north-east of Haeundae. Visit Busan, the city’s tourism portal, lists it as open every day from 4:30 AM to 7:20 PM, last entry 6:50 PM, with no admission fee (checked November 2026). Tours give it 30 minutes (Korea Time Tour) to an hour (Lecirt, TOURSTORY Korea's markets day).

Cheongsapo and Haeundae Blueline Park

Cheongsapo is a small fishing harbour with a glass-floored walkway, the Daritdol Skywalk, out over the rocks. It is also a station of Haeundae Blueline Park, where the Sky Capsule runs along the coast to Mipo and the Beach Train rides the same shore. On most days the ride is optional and the ticket is bought on the spot; on 에덴투어's day the group splits three ways, some walking, some on the train, some in a capsule, and the guide helps with the tickets.

From 16 to 19 November 2026 the Sky Capsule is closed for maintenance, and TOURSTORY Korea’s days use the Beach Train instead. Lecirt's day warns that access to the Daritdol Observatory may be restricted in bad weather.

The UN Memorial Cemetery

Of the six day tours above, only LOVE KOREA’s stops here, at the cemetery for the UN soldiers who died in the Korean War. Several of the cruise-port tours go there too; the Busan shore excursion has those.

Gamcheon Culture Village and the harbour

Gamcheon is a hillside of small houses above the old harbour, now painted and full of murals. Visit Busan lists it as open every day, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from November to February and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM from March to October, and free to visit except for parking; it asks visitors to keep their voices down in the lanes (checked November 2026). Busan Ilbo reported on 4 August 2026 that Saha District began a trial “special management zone” in the village on 1 August: vehicles carrying tourists may not enter Gamnae 2-ro, visits are limited after 6 PM in the densely residential parts, and groups of 10 or more must buy a tourist map; the district’s formal start is 1 January 2027. Tours spend 50 minutes to an hour and a half here; LOVE KOREA’s gives the longest.

Jagalchi Market, the fish market by the harbour, is a drop-off on LOVE KOREA’s day, not a stop: the coach leaves you at Nampo-dong and Jagalchi at 5:50 PM if you want to stay on for dinner. Korea Time Tour and TOURSTORY Korea's markets day build the market into the day itself.

Some visitors give one of their Busan days to Gyeongju, the old Silla capital, 80 to 90 minutes away by tour van or coach. gyeongjudaytripfrombusan.com compares the Gyeongju day tours that leave from Busan, stop by stop.
