What a Busan Day Tour Includes, and What You Pay on the Day

What a Busan day tour includes and what is paid on the spot: lunch, the Sky Capsule and Beach Train, Ahopsan Forest, cable cars and pickup surcharges, tour by tour.

Updated November 2026

Most Busan day tours include the guide, the transport and admission at their stops, and leave out lunch and the Sky Capsule. Two of the sights nearly every tour visits charge no admission at all: Visit Busan lists Haedong Yonggungsa and Gamcheon Culture Village as free (checked November 2026). What you pay on the day is lunch, a Sky Capsule or Beach Train ride if you want one, and on some tours a forest fee or a pickup surcharge.

The Sky Capsule and the Beach Train

Both ride the coast at Haeundae Blueline Park, the capsule above the shore from Cheongsapo to Mipo, the train along it. On most day tours a ride is an optional extra you buy on the spot, with the guide’s help. On LOVE KOREA's coach day a ticket bought on the spot is not guaranteed at busy times, and if you skip the ride you keep the free time on the shore at Cheongsapo.

On 에덴투어's day the group splits three ways at Cheongsapo, and the prices quoted for the day are 8,000 won an adult for the Beach Train and, for a Sky Capsule, 50,000 won for two, 55,000 won for three or 60,000 won for four (checked November 2026). Each capsule holds up to four people and may be shared with other guests, which several tours point out.

If the capsule is the reason for the day, pick a tour that books it in advance: the Sky Capsule option of LOVE KOREA's small-group day or TOURSTORY Korea's coastal day, or the dearest option of Lecirt's day. From 16 to 19 November 2026 the capsule is closed for maintenance, and TOURSTORY Korea’s days use the Beach Train instead.

Lunch

No Busan day tour here lists lunch among its inclusions. LOVE KOREA's coach day stops at a restaurant at your own expense, with vegetarian, vegan and other menus if you ask in advance. Korea Time Tour leaves you two hours around Jagalchi Market and Nampo-dong to eat on your own, and TOURSTORY Korea's markets day stops for lunch at Jagalchi Market, at your own cost.

Ahopsan Forest

Ahopsan Forest is on 에덴투어's day and on one version of TOURSTORY Korea's markets day: “a private forest” of bamboo, cypress, cedar and ginkgo, “preserved for around 400 years”, where Korean dramas and films have been shot. Its entrance fee is not in 에덴투어’s price.

Pickups and the cruise port

Haedong Yonggungsa and Gamcheon Culture Village, both free to visit, at the two ends of the city; the cruise terminals by the harbour.

The cheaper days collect from subway exits or set meeting points; hotel pickup is part of the small-group days. LOVE KOREA's small-group day collects free within Busan city limits but charges 100,000 won on the spot from Gimhae Airport, Gijang or Gangseo-gu, and it warns that cruise passengers may be cancelled without notice. If you arrive by ship, the Busan shore excursion covers the tours timed to your ship.

What none of this changes: the temple and the village themselves are free, so most of what a day tour costs is the van, the guide and the time saved crossing a long city.
