Busan Night Tour

Busan's night tours compared: a 3-hour evening with a cruise and two viewpoints, a 50-minute boat at Gwangalli, a walk up Hwangnyeongsan and a market evening, with what reviewers report.

Updated November 2026

A Busan night tour is short: 50 minutes on a boat at Gwangalli, two and a half hours up a viewpoint, or a 3-hour evening that does both by water and by road. The fullest of them is Busan Tourism Center’s Busan: Night Viewpoints with Evening Cruise w/ Fireworks, from US$110 a person (checked November 2026). It collects you from your hotel, gives you an 80-minute cruise off Haeundae, the lit facade of the Busan Cinema Center and the view over the city from Hwangnyeongsan, and brings you back.

Powerd by GetYourGuide

It started at 7:00 PM and cost US$109.99 a person on 27 November 2026, 20 January and 10 March 2027 (checked November 2026). Free cancellation until 24 hours before.

The cruise evening

Illustration. A lit suspension bridge over the bay at dusk, seen from the beach.

The minivan collects you from your hotel. The cruise runs along the coast off Haeundae for 80 minutes, then come 30 minutes at the Busan Cinema Center, where light patterns are projected across the building, and 30 at the viewpoint on Hwangnyeongsan, a hill in the middle of the city. The boat leaves between 7 and 8 PM depending on the schedule, and the whole evening runs 3 to 4 hours depending on where you are staying. The cruise, entry fees, bottled water, the guide and photos taken by the guide are included; food and drinks are not. Bring a passport or ID for the boat and warm clothes. It is not wheelchair accessible.

Fireworks are in the tour’s title, but nothing else in its description, inclusions or itinerary says when they are let off or whether every cruise has them, so do not book for them alone.

The tour has 233 reviews on GetYourGuide at an average of 4.7, dated December 2019 to October 2026. 21 give three stars or fewer, 12 of them with a comment. Four of the twelve call it poor value for the price; three say the boat’s commentary was in Korean only or that nothing was in English; one (May 2025) found the boat crowded and not the one pictured; one (October 2023) timed the cruise at about an hour.

A boat at Gwangalli

YACHT HOLIC's boat trip is the short, cheap option, from US$26 (checked November 2026). It leaves the Gwangalli Marine Leports Center on Gwangalli Beach for about 50 minutes, passing Gwangan Bridge and Marine City, with sailings at 4:30, 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 PM. Drinks, beer, sweets, snacks, a photo service and fireworks on the evening sailings are included; the fireworks are timed at 5:30 PM in the tour’s highlights and at 6:30 PM in its description. Buying the ticket does not fix your sailing: you confirm a boarding time with the operator afterwards, and anyone arriving less than 5 minutes before it is not allowed on. Not for people prone to motion sickness.

Of its 311 reviews, dated January 2024 to November 2026, 42 give three stars or fewer and 20 of those carry a comment. Seven of the twenty say no drinks or snacks were handed out, three found the fireworks disappointing, and two had trouble getting a boarding time they could make.

A viewpoint on foot

Social Tour(Korean Hug You)'s night view tour, from US$25 (checked November 2026), is a 2.5-hour evening in a small group: a car with a driver from the meeting point, a walk up Hwangnyeongsan to a viewpoint over the city lights and the sea, and back. Hotel pickup is not included. The guide speaks English, Korean or Chinese. Of its 156 reviews, 2 give three stars or fewer.

Markets after dark, and longer days

Map of Busan: Haeundae and Haedong Yonggungsa in the east, Busan Station and the North Port cruise terminal in the middle, Jagalchi Market and Gamcheon Culture Village by the harbour in the south-west
The evening cruise runs off Haeundae, in the east; the market evening starts by Jagalchi Market and ends its tour in Gamcheon, by the harbour in the west.

Lecirt's night tour, from US$75 (checked November 2026), starts at Jagalchi Station (4:50 PM on the date we read) and spends two hours in the markets with dinner included, then the Songdo skywalk and Gamcheon Culture Village, finishing at Seomyeon. It runs only with a minimum number of people. Visit Busan gives Gamcheon’s hours as 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from November to February (checked November 2026), so on a winter evening the village is seen after those hours.

Here Korea Travel's small-group day with the food market and the night view is a full day that ends at night: the temple, Gamcheon and the downtown markets, a street-food walk in Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, and the view from Hwangnyeongsan, from US$74 (checked November 2026).

TOURSTORY Korea's sunset tour rides the Sky Capsule at Haeundae and moves on to Gwangan Bridge after dark; from 16 to 19 November 2026 the Beach Train replaces the capsule for maintenance. It is built around photo stops. For night photography itself, busanphotographytour.com covers the night tours made for a camera.
